Ok. It was just preseason. Or, was it just preseason? On Wednesday night, the Capitals’ Dylan Strome looked like a third overall draft pick (back in 2015) as he scored two goals on five shots with a plus two rating. As a bonus for Capitals fans, his projected linemate Connor Brown also scored a goal and an assist on three shots as Washington dominated Philadelphia 3-1 (it wasn’t that close, as the Philadelphia managed only 21 shots on goal).
