The New York Islanders fell to the visiting Winnipeg Jets in their first meeting of the 2014-2015 season on Tuesday night, at Nassau Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum to the score of 4-3. The Islanders loss snapped their two-game winning streak, and puts them at 6-3-0. Their next game will be Thursday when they travel to Colorado to take on the Avalanche. The Winnipeg Jets move to 4-5-0 and will play their next game Thursday night when they take on the NJ Devils at the Prudential Center.
