St. Paul, MN — The University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs defeated the Denver Pioneers 2-0 in the first quarterfinal game of the NCHC Frozen Faceoff. The Bulldogs got two goals from Blake Biondi and Kobe Roth and Bulldog goalie Ryan Fanti stopped all 30 shots that he faced.
