The Bruins have clearly faced some serious adversity with injuries this season. Unfortunately, those injuries have exposed more serious problems with the club: They've lost the swagger. 

Cooke Escapes Suspension for Savard Hit

As a repeat offender, the Penguins' Matt Cooke was considered a likely target for discipline for his blindside, shoulder-to-head hit Sunday that likely ended Bruin Marc Savard's season. Precedent was on Cooke's side this time, but such a hit could be punished by suspension next season if a new rule proposed by NHL GMs is adopted.

Kulemin downs Bruins in OT

Last Thursday, Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas stood tall in the shootout to seal the victory for the Black and Gold. On Tuesday, Leafs forward Nikolai Kulemin netted the game-winner with just under a minute left in OT, to give Toronto a 4-3 win.
