ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — The Yale Bulldogs became the ECAC Champions tonight as they defeated the Cornell Big Red 6-0 at The Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Yale wins the ECAC Championship for the 2nd time in three years. Yale’s Kevin Limbert netted a power play goal just 3:03 into the 1st period, Limbert would score another power play goal later in the period when he deflected in a slap shot by Jimmy Martin. Yale would get 2nd period goals from Antoine Laganiere, Chris Cahill, Colin Dueck, and Broc Little. Bulldogs netminder Ryan Rondeau stopped all 22 Cornell shots, gets back to back shutouts and is named the outstanding player of the Championship.
