ATLANTIC CITY, NJ: NHL Stars to take the ice at the Historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ this Saturday November 24th at 7:00 PM. The event is “Operation Hat Trick” sponsored by Caesar’s of Atlantic City. Some of the NHL’s top stars with take part in a charity hockey game to help raise money for the victims that were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. All proceed’s from the game will go to the New Jersey Hurricane Relief Fund, the Empire State Relief Fund, and the American Red Cross. This is a great opportunity to see some fantastic hockey and to help out a great cause.
Here are how the two teams look currently. The New York team captained by Rangers forward Brad Richards features Bobby Ryan, Corey Perry, Ville Leino, Jeff Halpern, James Neal, Brian Boyle, Matt Martain, Taylor Pyatt, Dan Girardi, Marc Staal, Steve Eminger and Henrik Lundqvist. The Philadelphia team will be captained by Flyers forward Scott Hartnell and features Steven Stamkos, Wayne Simmonds, Daniel Carcillo, Simon Gagne, Justin Williams, David Clarkson, James Van Riemsdyk, Jody Shelley, Steve Downie, Kimmo Timonen, Braydon Coburn, John Carlson, Andy Greene and Martin Brodeur. WOW, talk about a who’s who, and more players will be added in the next few days.
