Payne to Develop Young Talent in St. Louis

With the firing of coach Andy Murray, the Blues hope that Davis Payne can turn this season around for St. Louis and develop the large amount of young talent on the team through passion and trust. 

Blues fire Murray, name Payne Interim coach

After three straight home losses, including a blown 3-1 lead against Vancouver on Thursday night, the Blues have decided to replace coach Andy Murray. Davis Payne, head coach of the Blues' AHL affiliate Peoria will take over for the time being.
