With the Olympic break leading to a shortened weekly schedule, we'll also take a look at the Northeast Division players in Vancouver. Many NHL players are in the Olympic spotlight as they represent their home countries.

The catch is that there are three pools and that four teams get byes in the next round. For three teams that win their pool it will be a well-deserved break, because they will have had to beat at least one other Big Seven opponent.

Most hockey fans can’t wait for the men’s hockey tournament at the Olympics to start, but this best-on-best always gets off to a mediocre start at best. There is an easy solution to that by simply trimming a couple teams from the Games.
