Hershey Bears Make Numerous Roster Moves

The Hershey Bears have made a few roster moves going into the all star break on January 29th and 30th.

On January 23rd the Washington Capitals assigned defenseman Tomas Kundratek back to the Hershey Bears. Kundratek has registered eight points on six goals in 21 games played with Hershey.

Forward Cody Eakin was also assigned to the Hershey Bears by the Washington Capitals on January 25th. Eakin has recorded 15 points in 18 games with Hershey in the American Hockey League this year.

After the Capitals sent two players in Eakin and Kundratek to the Bears. The Bears sent two players to the Washington Capitals ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays. Forward Matt Pope and defense man, Phil Oreskovic were sent to the Sting Rays.

Keith Aucoin was also selected as a starter for the Eastern Conference in the American Hockey League All-Star Game this upcoming weekend.

The Bears face the Norfolk Admirals tonight at 7:00 pm in Norfolk, before the All-Star break weekend festivities.
