Israel’s national hockey team competed in the International Ice Hockey Federation Division II, Group A World Championship in April 2008 in Miercurea Ciuc. Israel competed against host Romania, Belgium, Serbia, Bulgaria and Ireland.

Max Birbraer is Israel’s most accomplished hockey player to date, and is the only Israeli ever selected in the NHL draft. He sat down with Inside Hockey and discussed the Israeli national team and his career.
