AHL Power Rankings: 11/6/12

With teams about an eighth of the way through their schedule thus far in this AHL season, there’s been a fair amount of fluctuation in the rankings. The Springfield Falcons have been a big surprise this year, to say the least, along with the Charlotte Checkers (who are now in the Western Conference). The Albany Devils hold the worst record in the AHL, but the season is still quite early. Wilkes-Barre Scranton struggled out of the gate, but are returning to form for another playoff run. Although it’s still early, struggling teams need to get back on track soon if they want to see the playoffs this season. Standings in the power rankings are through November 5th.
